Westin Sportsman Tail Light Guards Installation - 2006 Ford F-150- Video

Today in our 2006 Ford F-150, we'll be installing the Westin vehicle trim for rear tail lights, part number 39-3305. To begin our install we'll first need to remove the older manufacturer's tail lights. To do that, we'll open the tail gate and remove the two fasteners that secure the tail light assembly. Once we have the fasteners out, we'll go ahead and pop our tail light assembly out of its position. Now overtime, these tail lights can get stuck so you could use a flat blade screwdriver or plastic pry tool to assist in loosening the tail light assembly. When popping the tail light assembly out, be careful not to break the alignment pins that are molded in to the tail light assembly. Now, with the tail light assembly lose, we'll go ahead and bring in the guard and secure it to the tail light. more
